I was given some teaching materials by a family friend who is a retiring teacher. I am thankful for all that she gave me and for her years of service, and by no means am I making fun or being ungrateful. I found some of technology items amongst all the material and they made me think. It is fun to look back and see what was considered cutting edge at the time. It also has me thinking somewhere along the lines of "No matter how much things change, the stay the same." Take a look at the materials in the pics, what do you think about the current state of educational technology? How far have we come? How far do we have to go?

Wow - those are some seriously old books - great to know teachers were thinking how technology would impact the classroom in the 1970's (or at least the book looks like it's from there).
