EdCamp Orlando

I spent the day at my first EdCamp in Orlando, FL. The conference was held at Lawton Chiles Preparatory School in Longwood, FL. I made some new friends, learned about some new resources, and met some people I follow on Twitter like @cybraryman and his incredible "web archive" of educational resources. I attended a few sessions with titles like "Why Use Technology for 21st Century Learning" Dr. Thomas Ho @DrThomasHo and "Building your PLN (Personal Learning Network)." Overall it was a great day, I learned a few new things to apply in my job as 21st Century Learning Specialist at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, and would like to thank the organizers of Edcamp Orlando for putting on a great event. I can't wait until the next one...
