21st Century Learning Specialist?

What, exactly, is a 21st Century Learning Specialist? Well, I started my new job on January 2nd, and I can tell you a little bit about my new role. My job is to help all of the teachers at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy integrate technology into their lessons. The ISTE standards are a great starting point. Another aspect of my job is teaching Digital Citizenship, something we all, both students and  teachers, need to be constantly aware of an improving upon. Finally, and one of my favorite aspects, is just being the all-around go to guy for "techie stuff" at the school. I am honored to be in this position, and look forward to "digging in" to all of the exciting projects and possibilities the position will entail. 2013 is going to be a great year!
